Manipulate Table Data from Column Headings

You can right-click a column heading to sort entries in ascending or descending order, customize filter settings, find data in a column, or hide a column in the summary table.

Manipulating the table data by this method modifies the current table display only. Click to modify and save the settings. Refer to Modify Environmental Settings for instructions.


To sort a column in ascending or descending order:

  1. On the summary table, right-click the column heading on which the sorting for the table will be based.

  2. Select Sort from the drop-down menu, and then choose Ascending or Descending.

To filter a single column:

  1. On the summary table, right-click the column heading that contains the data on which the filtering for the table will be based, and then choose Filter from the drop-down menu to display the Filter Definition page.

  2. Click in the Qualifier column, and then select one of the qualifiers.

  3. Either or display in the Value(s) column for you to specify the filter value(s). Click , if present, and then select an entry, or click to display a page where you can specify your filter value or values. The following table lists the pages and how to topics that display when you select a specific qualifier. Click a page or topic for details.

The <Filter> variable, shown below in the Page displayed column, determines the title and presentation of content of several display pages in the cash management application.

To filter on a specific account, for example, select the corresponding Equal To (=) qualifier. <Filter> is replaced with Account and the Select Filter Value for Account xxxxx page displays when you click .

To find data within a column:

  1. On a summary table, right-click the column heading that contains the information you want to search for, and then choose Find from the drop-down list to display <Field> Find Criteria page.

<Field> in the page title displays the name of the column being searched. For example, to find a specific financial institution, click the Financial Institution column. <Field> is replaced with Financial Institution and the Financial Institution Find Criteria page displays.

  1. In the Find Value box, type the text you want to locate in the selected column.

  2. Select Find Exact Match Only to locate only the precise text entered in the text box.

  3. Select Match Case to return only those entries that match the capitalization of the text box.

  4. Click Find or press ENTER to highlight the first match in the summary table.

Find changes to Find Next after first match is found.

  1. Click Find Next or press ENTER to locate subsequent matches. When there are no more matches, The Search Item Was Not Found system message appears.

  2. When you are finished or to terminate a search in progress, click Cancel.

To hide a column on the summary table:

  1. On a summary table, right-click the column heading of the column you want to hide.

  2. Select Hide Column from the drop-down menu. The column is hidden for the current display table only.
